I love all God's children, but......

Ladies and gents,

I hate it when people don't say what they want to say. Be direct. Say what you mean. When people "beat around the bush" it wastes time and energy. Do you feel me or what?

flojp,

You have some good points. Yes everyone is different and everyone has the right to choose how they want to express his or herself.

But, I don't feel I am hard on people who choose to keep comments to themselves. I have a problem with people who waste time trying to say something they want to say, by taking extra minutes, hours, or days to open their mouths or indirectly try to communicate their point to you. I may be wrong, but I believe if you have something to say, say it.

I believe in being tactful and diplomatic when dealing with people. Depending on the situation though, I don't believe in feeling a person out before making a statement, big or small. Depending on the situation, I believe in letting the individual on the other end of the conversation letting me know if I have "come to the end of my rope".

I don't believe in maliciously going around and hurting people's feelings, but I rather run the risk of hurting someone's feelings by being direct with no malice in my heart and having to explain myself later than being overly cautious about hurting someone's feelings and "beating around the bush" and possibly saying nothing at all.

Different strokes, for different folks...I guess we all have to find what works best for us.
