What turns you on?

This post is probably not what you think it is about. I was talking with one of my boys about woman and the conversation hit the topic of characteristics women possess that are turn-ons. Well dressed and maintained, well spoken, confident (but not arrogant), charismatic, health and body conscious were all characteristics that came up. But the characteristic that got the most talk time during the conversation was independence.

A woman that is independent is such a turn-on to me. A woman who doesn’t need a man to pay her bills, buy her everything, or make decisions for her really impresses me. Don’t get me wrong, I believe in treating a lady like a lady. Taking a woman out and leading your household as a man are things a man is supposed to do. But having a woman who needs you to make career decisions for her and make rent payments is not on the top of my list. I don’t care if she possesses all of the aforementioned characteristics.

We all need help and need someone to bounces things off of from time to time. No one makes it on his or her own, but as a man, it is a complete turn-off having a grown woman that I have to treat like an adolescent.
