Good judgment, God gives it to us, so use it.
I found out that my idea of how the Lord works is different from some people I really care about. I think the Lord gives us the ability to make choices and make good decisions. For example, I think that the Lord blesses us with certain vehicles in our lives to help ourselves, like healthcare. We should take advantage of such vehicles. I was telling one of my good friends how it is very important to get check-ups at the doctor and she said in a nutshell that if anything is wrong with her, the Lord will heal her. I believe the Lord can do all things, but at the same time I don’t think it is right for us to take in vain some of the blessings he has bestowed onto us (like healthcare). Not everyone can take advantage of healthcare. I don’t think doctors can outperform the Lord, but why not recognize what the Lord has given us.
To me, the above scenario is equivalent to asking the Lord for funds to pay your overdue bills and expecting the money to be on your doorstep the next morning just because you are a faithful follower and ignoring the job interview he has given you that will provide you the opportunity to pay those overdue bills. Don’t get me wrong; the Lord can very well drop $20,000 on your doorsteps, but if he does so, it will be with purpose.
Ultimately, I believe that the Lord is purposeful and does what he does for a reason and wants us to use good judgment.

I understand what you mean. God can do all but he wants you to try. CLEVELANDJEAN
ClevelandJean,
I am glad someone feels me. The "Big Guy" works in many ways. Take for example the second paragraph of my original post. The money needed to pay your bills may not come on your doorsteps. It may come via a job opportunity. The Lord may be trying to tell you "if you don't work, you don't eat".
