Mr. Badger

Friday was the last day for a young guy in the department I am apart of. I'll call this young man Mr. Badger. Mr. Badger is a young maverick. I reminds me of myself a little. He really liked the people he worked with and had some pain points knowing he would be parting from his friends. He is a great talent. But financially, we were not able to keep him. One thing I would like to share with Mr. Badger is that you have to take the people component out of career decisions to an extent. The dynamics of your work team can change in a minute with out your control. You can't make a decision just because you like the people you work with. When put in a situation where one has to choose between a work team and more money sometimes some of those same people you enjoy working with will be giving you the peace sign while their running out the door to the job where they will be making more money. I am glad Mr. Badger has stepped out and rolled the dice.
